Old Spot Mixed Doubles 4th June 2011

On Saturday Cam & Dursley tennis club held its second tournament of the season. A mixed doubles sponsored by The Old Spot who provided a barbeque in the afternoon and supper in the evening. 

The maximum number of 24 players took part and the final was played by Angela Morris and Jez Walton against Judith Walton and Phil Morris . Judith and Phil took the cup winning 6-3.

Tom Sainty presented the cup on behalf of Steve Herbert  the landlord of the Old Spot where we retired for supper and a good time was had by all. 

The proceeds of the tournament were donated to the fund that Steve Herbert is raising by running in the New York Marathon in support of the Cotswold Care Hospice.
