Cam & Dursley tennis club is proud to have multiple League Teams registered in the Gloucestershire Summer & Winter Leagues. For a small, village club such as Cam & Dursley, to have both Mens and Womens teams competing at some of the highest levels in Gloucestershire is a credit to all those playing in the teams.
The teams that Cam & Dursley have are spread out over the various divisions within the Gloucestershire League structure, so if it's your first League match or you want to pit yourself against the best there will be a Team for you!
2024 Summer Leagues
The Dunlop Gloucestershire Summer Leagues 2024 are fast approaching!
The club are looking to run some practice nights for anyone who is interested in playing or even just finding out more about these leagues starting at the end of February.
The club will be looking to enter 3x men's teams and 2x ladies' teams into the league competition this year.
Ladies' night will be Tuesdays from 7pm (following on from the coaching sessions) starting on 27th February
Men's night will be Thursdays from 7pm starting on 29th February
These nights are a great way to meet the current league players within the club. It gives the teams the best opportunities to find out what level we can be entering our teams into the leagues and ensures that we provide something for anyone and everyone who wants to be making the step into competitive tennis. There are no obligations or pressures with these nights, it is purely a way to bring as many of the potential league players together to then start setting out the plans for the summer.
It would be great to see as many people as possible attend the practice nights. The Club requires a wide number of players to fill the teams, so if you're a seasoned league player, new to the Club and looking at possible selection for the summer league, unable to commit fully for whatever reason but willing to play at times or just want to come and see what it's all about then you will be more than welcome.
If anyone is interested in joininga team or just wants to know more about it then please get in touch (cd.tennisclub@gmail.com).
