Ladies doubles match-practice and social session.
The most popular of the Cam & Dursley club sessions.
This is a social, doubles match-playing club session which provides the perfect environment for catching up with friends, socializing with the club members and practicing your match tactics!
Social, match-playing doubles sessions also run on Tuesdays 1:30pm - 4pm.
The Friday Evening Club Session.
The main intention of the session is to encourage all adult/student members of all standards and all levels of tennis experience to get involved, with a focus on fun games, drills and cardio tennis. The emphasis being very much on social interaction in a relaxed, fun and enjoyable tennis environment (that's the plan anyway!).
The session includes some fun, friendly drills designed to get everybody active and involved and having a laugh with each other, whilst providing an opportunity to hone your shots.
Who knew that trying to hit a cartoon cut-out of Andy Murray on the baseline could be quite so entertaining and competitive!?
There is also then the opportunity to put the drills into practice with some more standard match-play.
Members (free) and non-members (£2.00) are more than welcome to join in the sessions which run from April until October.
The intention of this session is to invite those who may be new to the Club, those who are looking to return to tennis or just people who want to do some additional sporting activity to meet with current Club members in a relaxed, friendly, safe environment to start forming the social relationships that being a member of a tennis club can provide.
Of course, all this fun is thirsty work, but luckily the main sports club bar couldn't be closer and is open for a drink after the session to unwind.
